Does the Supreme Court have the authority to reduce general damages for bodily harm or a death of a family member?

Abstract

The article argues that since the Supreme Court of the Czech Republic is (as of 2013) only entitled to review questions of law, not questions of fact, it does not have the authority the reduce general damages for bodily harm or a death of a family member, as the amount of the damages is a factual question, not a question of law.
