Abstract
The monograph Journalistic Profession 2.0 deals with current development trends in the media as well as journalism and processes such as mediatization of the Internet, internetization of the mass media, media convergence and hybridization. It brings, among other things, findings from research that focused on the specific impacts of these processes on the journalistic profession in the Czech Republic and that was interested in current attitudes of journalists to technological development and changes in their daily work.
It examines the validity of statements offered by scientists in connection with the issue of current development trends.
