Abstract

Nodular fasciitis is a relatively rare benign disease affecting connective tissue which, due to its rapid growth and similarities in the histological finding, can easily mimic malignant soft-tissue tumors. In the case report we present a case of nodular fasciitis in the facial region of the 64-year-old man.

Clinical symptomatology, pathophysiology, diagnostics and methods of treatment are discussed.
