In the article the author makes an attempt to define the domineering factors of motivation in the process of teaching Russian as a foreign language to students of non-philological specialties with the base of the results obtained in the survey of foreign students of the Republic of Belarus within the framework of the Interstate Fund of Humanitarian Cooperation of the Member-States of CIS grant.
