Abstract
The article provides information about a solo theatrical performance that the author has created for children's audiences abroad. The production tells the true story of a Czech Jewish girl who was saved from Nazi oppression in 1939 by Sir Nicholas Winton.
The performance was part of a research into theatrical components that help the child spectator to understand a theatrical performance played in a language they do not understand and was performed in five culturally and linguistically different environments.
