Abstract
In the chapter of the collective monograph Special Manners of Concluding Contracts, Unilateral Promises, the author deals with the promise of indemnity. The concept and legal regulation of the promise of indemnity are both defined, as well as the origin of the promise, including the duration of the promise and its termination, and an analysis of the damage and indemnity.
This part is based on current legal regulation of the legal obligations in the Czech Republic and applicable decisions of Czech courts.
