This article defines the term religious minority with the help of multi-disciplinary reflection in regards to religious migrants. The aim of this text is not a detailed reflection, but it defines the main terms which different disciplines (linguistics, law, sociology, comparative religions, and theology) use in regards to religious minority.
In the next part of the article the author ponders if it is even possible to define a religious minority. One area the author ponders is the understanding of this term from the perspective of the migrant's country of origin.
We can see the diversity through which it can be defined based on some criteria and which can be decisive for revealing discrimination or persecution of an individual.
