Semantic prototype of profession in the Czech culture

Abstract

I am presenting the results of the survey that I carried among 1158 informants in 2008. The survey was oriented at mapping semantic prototypes in selected categories (intelectual profession and manual profession).

The collected data were interpreted according to subjective factors, e.g. age and gender of the respondents. The data were also quantified.
