Abstract
The chapter deals with the interpretation of Roman law legal sources, in particular of the Digest of the emperor Justinian, and the difficulties connected herewith. Further, the paper describes the interpretative methods and especially focuses on the exegesis, specific interpretation method used in the Roman law science.
