Abstract
The study points to the extensive work of Peter Sis, which focuses on the author's illustrated books. It introduces knowledge of the history of Prague through pictorial narrative, the author's childhood memories and especially the history and secrets of Prague's legends.
The study analyzes the illustration and verbal accompaniment to two selected legends - the Golem, Prague's most famous Jewish legend, and about Hanus and the construction of the Old Town Astronomical Clock.
