Abstract

In September 2018, during an out-of-competition unannounced visit, the excellent Chinese swimmer Yang Sun first underwent blood sampling for doping control, but then questioned the identity of the authorized commissioners and, together with his bodyguard, destroyed his blood samples. The World Swimming Federation (FINA) has considered the case and concluded that "Mr.

Sun Yang did not commit an anti-doping rule violation." The decision of FINA was not satisfied with the decisive organization in the fight against world sports doping WADA (World Antidoping Agency). Based on the findings of the CAS (Court of Arbitration for Sport) meeting in February 2020, Yang Sun was punished by an eight-year ban on anti-doping rule violations.
