Pavlína Cermanová and Pavel Soukup (edd.): Hussite Reformations. Transformation of the cultural code in the 15th century

Abstract

The title foreshadows that, from the authors' point of view, the Hussite movement attempted not only ecclesiastical reform, but also a regrouping, ie a reformation of cultural, political and social emphases, customs and contents. The authors search for this fact and prove it in eleven articles on cases in which the common denominator - the cultural code - has changed.
