The reviewed monograph Teaching of National Languages in V4 Counries was edited by Stanislav Štěpáník and Marek Pieniążek in 2016. It is the result of a year-long project of the same name, funded by the Visegrad Fund.
The project was based on the common research of four universities from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia on the issue of the teaching of national languages in each country. The main aim of the book was to summarize the outcomes of the project and compare the systems of teaching national languages in the four countries of the Visegrad group.
We described in the review the monograhp, compare and comment parts about teaching in particular countries and highlight the examples good practice and successful changes and reforms of school system in these countries.
