Abstract
This article attempts a case study of structural-institutional applicability and an ideational explanation of the phenomenon of the long Iranian revolution during the 20th century. The first part of the article deals with the individual phases of long Iranian revolution (or in an alternative interpretation by individual Iranian revolutions during the 20th century).
The second part presents the diferent theoretical explanations, comparing some structural and ideational approaches.
