Episcopal Deeds Issued by John III of Dražice and their Classification. A Contribution to the Research into 13th Century Chancellery by the Prague Bishopric

Abstract
The study deals with the deeds issued by John III of Dražice, the head of the Prague diocese in 1258-1278. Though established probably during the late life of his predecessor, it was not until John's tenure that the episcopal chancellery was in regular and proper operation.
The paper opens with a survey of the chancellery's daily business and diplomatic production; the main focus, however, lies in analyzing the actual episcopal documents, which have been classified according to their contents and put to further examination.
