Determination of motivation of pupils of selected schools to study the life of arthropods in natural history teaching

Abstract
This project presents experience with the compilation of motivation questionnaire so as to provide an overview of motivation of pupils in the 6th, 7th and 8th classes, taking into account different approaches to teaching biology at selected schools. The aim was to find out the motivation questionnaire respondents are interested in nature, teaching biology and arthropods.
Pilot testing of the analytical tool was carried out at the beginning of the school year 2019/2020. The applicability of the pilot didactic test was verified in three primary schools and one lower grammar school, i.e. approximately on 342 respondents within Prague and the Central Bohemia Region.
The obtained data were statistically processed and evaluated.
