An Interpretation of Probability in Quantum Mechanics

Publication |
2020

Abstract

The lecture is an explication of notions brought to philosophy from quantum mechanics in nineteen twenties and thirties. My goal is to introduce concepts of existence and reality of physical world as semiotic notions.

We are going to read parts of essays written by Niels Bohr, Albert Einstein and Ch. S.

Peirce. Then we are going to articulate metaphysics that is presupposed by proponents of so called EPR paradox and show how can this paradox be explicated by semiotic of Ch.

S. Peirce.
