Extension of the liability of members of the statutory body in the event of the bankruptcy of a business corporation

Abstract

The article deals with the amendment to the Act on Business Corporations (Act No. 90/2012 Coll., hereinafter referred to as "ZOK"), published in the Collection of Laws as Act No. 33/2020 Coll., which significantly expanded the liability of members of statutory bodies in bankruptcy of a business corporation and the consequences for the breach of their duties in the performance of their function in a declining corporation, when in particular § 66 of the ZOK was amended.
