Abstract

After the initial characteristics of specific learning disorders, the text is focused on mandatory diagnostic procedures of developmental difficulties in reading, writing and numeracy in educational and psychological counseling centres. Presents a diagnostic tool, characterized by the proportion of the psychologist and special educator in the diagnostics of LD, highlights the risks and pitfalls in diagnostics.

The end of the chapter is accompanied by a model of the inquiry report.
