Dupilumab is a monoclonal antibody against interleukin 4 (IL-4) receptor alfa that blocks signaling from IL-4 and IL-13, essential mediators of T helper 2 (Th2) pathway. To date, all clinical trials investigating the use of dupilumab excluded patients with human immunodeficiency viru.

Herein, we describe the safe and successful use of dupilumab in a patient with atopic dermatittis, severe therapy resistant asthma, and HIV enfection.
