Abstract
This chapter focuses on the activities of the International Labor Organization in the first half of the 20th century. The circumstances of its origin, the development of the organizational structure, and the thematic focus of individual conferences of work in the international and Czechoslovak contexts are highlighted.
The initiative of Czechoslovak delegates in the creation of particular international conventions is also discussed.
