Abstract
The essay discusses the activities of the Scottish Gaelic revivalist, author, and publisher Ruaraidh Erskine of Mar (1869-1960), his Irish contacts, his vision of the revival of Scottish Gaelic, his political opinions, and his publishing ventures.
