Abstract
In his contribution, the author discusses the recently adopted US regulation on attracting international support for the extraction and use of space resources, the reasons for its adoption and its possible implications; it also extensively compares it with the so-called cosmic treaty of 1968 and the agreement on the activities of states on the moon and other celestial bodies of 1979.
