Anthropological and paleopathological characteristics of individuals from Mikulovice: Morphological variability of non-metric features

Abstract

The aim of our paper was in the Unetic population groups from Mikulovice a) describe biological variability about one hundred and sixty non-metric morphological ones characters (NMZ), b) verify the dependence of their occurrence on sexual and (c) use these signs to verify the degree morphological similarities of the studied individuals, which to to some extent it may also indicate biological relatedness. More specifically, we verified the degree of morphological similarity of individuals buried in various areas, sectors of Mikulov burial ground (groups A, B, C, D) and individuals buried in common or neighboring graves.
