Abstract

The contribution is devoted to the topic of humour as an effective instrument and indicator of quality education. It contains the findings gained by a qualitative research study of manifestations of humor in art education based on direct observation of teaching with three art teachers using Mayring's Qualitative Content Analysis.

The survey is interpreted in the context of theoretical bases of humor in connection with visual arts and pedagogy.
