Abstract
The issue of home education is becoming increasingly popular in pedagogical research. At the international level, there are a number of studies examining the various aspects of this trend in education and the possible effects it can have on children and society.
Nevertheless, there are far too few publications on this topic in the Czech educational context. Therefore, we decided to put together a team of researchers who deal with this topic to raise awareness of this "old-new" way of education and issues related to this form of education.
The book comes in two parts. The first part of the publication entitled Theoretical Treatises on the Problems of Homeschooling presents discussion-oriented texts.
The reader is introduced to the issue. The second part of the monograph entitled Contributions to the Issue of Home Education in the Context of Research Findings presents three scholarly texts on various topics related to home education.
