Abstract
The educational programme Benka is painting Slovakia introduces Martin Benka to the students as a universal artist, painter, illustrator, printer and musician. It shows his work, including his specific style, but also the specific ethnographical and geographical features of individual Slovak regions, as captured by the artist.
The programme is a suitable added-on activity to local history (geography) and visual art subjects. The educational programme is working with the exhibition and the following interactive educational programmes as well as creative workshops.
The museum has also designed further educational activities and accompanying events to the Martin Benka exhibition for the public.
