Abstract
This paper deals with the development of Czech professional business administration education until 1918 and focuses on the process of professionalization of bank clerks in that period. The subject of the research is the analysis of education typology and possible previous practice of the clerks before joining Živnostenská banka and the capture of possible development tendencies depending on changes in professional business administration education, bank development and contemporary econonomic and other circumstances.
