Parents as co-attendants to inclusive education

Abstract

The aim of the article is to clarify the importance of cooperation between parents and schools in inclusive education and thus contribute to the current topic of inclusive education. The research was focused on the processing of three case studies of selected schools with an inclusive concept.

In these case studies, three teacher interviews and three interviews with parents were conducted in each of these schools. The article presents the research results from three schools that supported inclusive education before the amendment to decree No. 27/2016 Coll. - On the education of pupils with special educational needs and gifted pupils came into effect.
