Problems of music education in primary educational system in the Czech Republic

Abstract

The author characterizes the development of ideas on importance of pedagogical reform. He presents so called 4 pillars of education, according which education programs were created in the Czech republic.

He characterizes the aim of elementary education and key competences. He criticaly says that important key competence is missing, he calls it Competence of esthetic demonstration.

There is also not written about the development of key competencies in the Czech document. The author accepts great responsibility of pedagogical schools for preparation students - future teachers of music.
