Abstract
The article was created on the basis of an audio recording of a round table. The round table was held at the Faculty of Education, Charles University in Prague in January 2020.
Gallery lecturers from leading Czech galleries met with art theorists from the Prague Department of Art Education and art teachers. The meeting was divided into three theoretical areas.
These areas were discussed with lecturers. A brief overview was given in the beginning of each theoretical block.
The chapters in the article copy the individual discussion blocks with their names: Gallery Education as a Part of the Educational Process; The Relationship between Art and the Curriculum; Visual Literacy and Interpretation of a Work of Art.
