Abstract
The chapter in the monograph is devoted to the influence of Kafka's work on the prose of Anna Seghers. The interpretive approach pointed out that both authors used elements of fairy tales, sagas and legends, as well as myths and dreams, which are connected in a literary work in a satirical or grotesque form.
The thematic closeness of some prose is striking, although the conclusions are often different and correspond to a different attitude.
