Abstract
The entry includes historical development of the discipline, social conditions of discipline and various aspects of school discipline. Attention is paid to aims and functions of school discipline, discipline methods and means, reasons of lack of school discipline and possibilities of prevention and correction of the lack of discipline in students? behaviour at schools.
