This paper introduces the concept of justice in the conception of (mainly) Hans Kelsen. His view is set in broader legal-philosophical perspective and is examined, whether it can be relevant even today.

The paper further shows the connection between democratic state and value relativism. It points out, that some contemporary ideas about what is right or just are not perpetual.
