Abstract
The articles deal with the specific regulation of the corporations in the Act on the Legal Profession, i. e. corporations entitled to fully provide legal services in the Czech Republic. This act sets down rules restricting non-lawyers (or anybody without license from Czech Advocate Chamber) to become shareholder or director of such a corporation.
This regime is compared with the corporate regulation of other professionals and very liberal English approach. It points out that any restriction in respect of shareholders or directors is not sufficient in order to prevent non-lawyers from informal means of control.
