People from afar: Vietnamese and Mongols in the Czech lands: a catalog for an exhibition of photographs by Jindřich Štreit

Abstract
The presented review publication seeks to bring both minorities closer to the general reading public in the form of a comparison, using the methods of sociological and historical research, as well as artistic reflections. The thematic chapters on Vietnamese and Mongols are complemented by an introductory article on the perception of national minorities from the perspective of sociology.
A separate part of the publication is a series of photographs by Jindřich Štreit from the environment of researched ethnic groups, which complement the professional textual part and capture the common and holiday days of Vietnamese and Mongols in the Czech Republic in an artistic-documentary style.
