Introduction: Multicutural education - the theme for reflection

Abstract

The article deals with the concept of the 22. Summer school of history that was based on framework educational program and its new theme and focused on its teaching in history classes.

The themes were oriented to the coexistence of different religions, nationalities and ethnical groups in the Czech lands in near and remote history, to inter-war immigration into Czechoslovakia, to the studies of foreign countries by Czech travellers, to the history of colonialism - Vietnam, French-British rivalry in Africa. The search of national idenmtity was also conceptualized.

Prominent Czech and foreign experts were lecturing.
