Pulmonary mycobacteriosis - case report

Publication at Third Faculty of Medicine |
2020

Abstract

Pulmonary mycobacteriosis is a disease caused by conditionally pathogenic species of non-tuberculous mycobacteria. It is a relatively rare disease, more common in immunocompromised patients.

In our case report, we present an atypical case of pulmonary mycobacteriosis in a young, still completely healthy patient. We focus on diagnostics, differential diagnosis and treatment options.
