Primary objective of this article is to explore the link between the philosophy of Michel Foucault and the notion of binary oppositions, with regards to ideology. The analysis of scientifical advancement as a change in perception, sorting, and arrangement of objects proposed by Foucault, could be studied through the lens of binary oppositions, which surround given grids.

In this way, the aforementioned concepts may serve as an indicator of ideological content within these grids. This article aims to put forward possibilities arising for the study of ideology with the linkage of Michel Foucault's analytical apparatus and the notion of binary oppositions, as well as the impact of this method in the context of political theory.
