Abstract
This article focuses on the scope and space of Czech ice hockey migration over the last 25 years. Focus is placed on understanding the effect of both migration in and out on building the game in our country.
Does the migration of ice hockey players grow the game? We discuss potential effects of growing the game at home, but also abroad? Ice hockey is still a sport played on a high level in a relatively small number of countries in the world. Thus, these countries where ice hockey is one of our primary sports need to see ice hockey grow around the world.
While this increases the our competition and may make our job harder, more popularity in more places increases the money, sponsorships, media coverage and prestige of the sport.
