Abstract
Location data of the mobile operator provided by the Institute of Planning and Development of the Capital City of Prague. The City of Prague made it possible to create a map of job opportunities in the municipalities of the Central Bohemia Region and the cadastres of Prague.
The map diagram showing the number of job opportunities illustrates the influence of Prague and its hinterland and large cities in the region for employment in Central Bohemia. Further greater concentrations of job opportunities are found during significant motorway routes leading to the metropolis and in the vicinity of the industrial centers of Mladá Boleslav and Kolín.
The cartogram shows the number of job opportunities per number of residents. This makes it possible to clearly distinguish important commuting sites and its importance in relation to the overall population size of the municipality.
