Abstract
This article focuses on the mitten crab *(Eriocheir sinensis)*. It describes history of its invasion into the secondary biotops and its imigration onto the teritory of Bohemia through the Labe River system.
It also makes an inventory of its recent occurence in the Labe River system and hardly explainable occurence in the Danube River system.
