Coronavirus as a reason for non-fulfillment of contractual obligations in domestic and cross-border business, or can late delivery be justified by the virus?

Abstract
Coronavirus, resp. its form, referred to as COVID-19 ("Coronavirus"), has become a major media topic, and its influence (or the effect of the panic it has caused) is affecting more and more areas of human activity. Of course, he will not avoid the law, not only in the field of hygiene regulations and administrative law in general, but also private law regulations.
I would like to address this brief topical reflection specifically on the possible effects in the area of trade, not only domestically but also internationally. I do not ambition to exhaust this topic in detail, but I would like to make at least a few general remarks applicable across contract law, in relations between entrepreneurs.
