Psoriasis - overwiew of the disease and indications for the biological treatment. Our experiences with adalimumab treatment

Abstract
The article gives the review about psoriasis and discusses especially the treatment options for severe forms of psoriasis. We present several patients with severe psoriasis, where local and systemic treatment has not been successful.
In all of these cases, adalimumab has been shown to significantly improve not only the skin finding, but has also ameliorated joint pains and significantly improved the quality of life of these patients.
