Abstract
The paper focuses on the safety and prevention of damage to the health of children aged 2 to 11 years, which may occur due to injury or ergonomic risks. It presents the intentions and first results of the project LAGRIS supported by Technological Agency of Czech Republic, which aims to map the current situation and obtain current information about the experiences, needs and attitudes of current parents and teachers of nursery and primary schools in matters related to the prevention of child injuries.
Based on these findings, optimized tools will be proposed for the implementation of a comprehensive educational program for children, parents and teachers in nursery and primary schools, which will focus on the development of their competencies in the field of safety and health protection. The paper presents the project and brings the results of the first data analysis of the pilot research, focused on the opinions and experiences of parents and grandparents with the safety and health protection of their descendants.
