Abstract
This article introduces the reader to a series of textbooks Violin Books for Joy, which is unique as it is designed to teach playing in the third position. The author of the article describes the advantages and the potential pitfalls of the beginnings of the play in the third position, emphasizing the work with songs, rhymes and songs, the beneficial methodological instructions and the graphic arrangement of Violin books and she interlaces her text with the views of her students.
