Abstract
It specifies the reasons for joining these communities and specifies the risk groups that are at risk of manipulation. In the next chapters of the theoretical part, counseling is mentioned as one of the methods of social work.
The chapters also deal with the explanation of the concepts of faith, religion and sect. Counseling here includes the lay, prestigious, professional, social and pastoral areas.
The aim of the research part is to find out, with the help of quantitative research and a questionnaire survey, how high school students in the Karlovy Vary region perceive new religious movements.
