Abstract
The presented case report discusses the issue of difficult compensation of diabetes in a patient with irregular working hours, and the significant improvement after the initiation of treatment with concentrated insulin analogue glargine 300 U/mL. Better compensation of diabetes, lower frequency of hypoglycaemia and improved quality of life were achieved with this treatment.
