The Electromyography (EMG) signal can be evaluated by frequency domain analysis and used to study muscle functions. However, frequency domain analysis has never been used to evaluate the EMG signal in children with cerebral palsy during the Robot-Assisted Gait Training (RAGT) application [3].

For this reason, the aim of this study is to test whether EMG analysis can show differences before and after the application of RAGT. Research Question: Is there any significant difference in parameter of frequency analysis of EMG signal in selected lower limb muscles of children with cerebral palsy? The impairment of tibialis anterior EMG-EMG coherence [6] and its improvement by the training was previously presented.

Although it was found in our study that EMG frequency parameter, namely PSD, did not change more significantly after RAGT, it can be supposed that the frequency analysis of specific muscles has high potential to reveal differences EMG activity pre- and post- RAGT. Therefore, the subsequent research to identify muscles frequency changes should be performed.
