The concept of a study devoted to the types of national identity of Russians in the Czech Republic is presented. The definition of identity is given, based on the works of Maurice Halbwachs, Jiří Šubrt, Nicolas Maslowski and others.
The analysis of the structure of the Russian diaspora in the Czech Republic is carried out. Based on research within the SVV project, in the initial stage, four types of national identity have been identified: Russian Patriot, Global Russian, Binational, Russianless.
